Description of the Course
Digital Media is a course residing in the area media manipulation. The attempt to create a form of media using technological device (mainly computers and cameras) which is either aesthetically pleasing, entertaining, or any other such purpose for the use of human consumption.
The three main subject/units in this class are:
Photography:
Taking photos of different objects, using photographic techniques to make a photo visually appealing, and editing photos to fix what could not be fixed during production. Photography is all about the visual side of digital media.
Audio Engineering:
Making music, or adding audio to a movie, or both! Audio engineering encompasses the idea of trying to make something sound good and right.
Video Editing
Squashing everything from photography and audio engineering together, video editing truly is the apex of this class as it combines everything learned previously into one.
